Program Eligibility

sycfrontsmStudents entering their second or third year of college and residing in Bucks County, Pa., are eligible to apply for the Summer Youth Corps Program. Successful applicants will spend 32 hours in service activities with a host agency each week and 8 hours of academic, supervision and training activities. A doctoral level licensed psychologist and a graduate assistant will provide weekly supervision.

Interns will complete a structured syllabus. The curriculum and syllabus are flexible and can be adjusted for each academic institution.

  • Former SYC interns

Employment Opportunity for Graduate Assistant

Each Spring, FCP also searches for a graduate student to assist in weekly supervision, conduct field work, and participate in workshops and lectures. The successful applicant will serve 10 weeks (May to August) as a “Field Supervisor” based out of FCP’s Doylestown office, and provide weekly intern supervision and consultation with the site supervisor.
