Program Eligibility

sycfrontsmStudents entering their second or third year of college, residing in Bucks County, Pa., and fully vaccinated against COVID-19, are eligible to apply for the Summer Youth Corps Program. Successful applicants will spend 32 hours in service activities with a host agency each week and 8 hours of academic, supervision, and training activities at Foundations Community Partnership (FCP). A doctoral level licensed psychologist and a graduate student will provide weekly supervision.

Interns will complete a structured syllabus. The curriculum and syllabus are flexible and can be adjusted for each academic institution.

Employment Opportunity for Graduate Student

Each spring, FCP also searches for a graduate student to assist in weekly supervision, liaise with site supervisors, conduct field work, and participate in workshops and lectures. The successful applicant will serve 13 weeks (May to August) as a “Field Supervisor” based out of FCP’s Doylestown office.
