Service Learning Internships

Service-learning is central to our vision and our mission. There are multiple definitions of service-learning. All agree that service-learning touches and changes both the recipient and the service provider.

In service-learning, young people use both academic and social skills to address human needs and solve problems in the real world. Service-learning provides change to the community during the student’s term of service and extended benefits to the community through education of others who have been "touched" through interaction with the student.
